Dutch Intermediate 2

Level: B1.2

What are all the things you have to organize before moving to the Netherlands? How do Dutch elections work? What holidays and festivals are there in the Netherlands? These are just some of the topics covered in the Dutch Intermediate 2 course. Four young professionals who live in Amsterdam will guide you through the course. When you have completed the course, you will be able to use more complex sentences, write simple letters and emails and know how to begin and end a telephone conversation.

What is covered in the Dutch Intermediate 2 course?

• Improving the pronunciation of tricky Dutch sounds and stresses
• Talking about topics including healthy eating, politics and Dutch holidays.
• Using more complex grammatical constructions such as the passive voice and contractions
• Going through the rules for starting and ending telephone conversations
• Understanding texts on abstract topics such as Dutch history and politics
• Writing simple letters and emails in correct Dutch, using the proper structure

Course level
The Dutch Intermediate 2 course takes you to level B1.2 on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. You will be able to use uncomplicated Dutch and will be well on the way to being an independent user.

Certificate
Upon completion of the Dutch Intermediate 2 course, you will receive a certificate that you can add to your LinkedIn profile.
